Na Wa O!! 3 Die In Mysterious Well In Anambra While Rescuer Receives Strange Slap (Full Details)

Residents of Hanik Street, Federal Housing Estate 3-3 Onitsha, Anambra State were in mournful mood, yesterday, following the death of three men in a borehole.
Eyewitnesses said the locally dug borehole developed fault and a young lady, who lived in the building, invited a man to recover the sumo for repairs.
Unfortunately, the man got trapped inside the hole while every effort to rescue him failed.
“They called for help and a fellow Calabar man went inside to help bring out his kinsman but got trapped as well.
“Some minutes later, an Hausa man living around the area also volunteered to enter the well to rescue the trapped men, although at the cost of N100, 000 which the residents agreed to pay but the man never came out .
“It would have been four dead bodies because a fourth person entered but he was lucky to come out alive though he complained of receiving a strange slap from the spirits inside the hole. He came out with swollen face and is in critical condition, presently,” our source stated.
When Daily Sun visited the compound, it was a rowdy scene as everybody wanted to catch a glimpse of what was happening.

After several efforts to rescue the trapped men, some residents resorted to prayers while others began incantations and offeredsacrifice of goats and fowls to appease the gods so that the victims would be brought out alive but all were in vain.
Residents said there was something mysterious about the borehole and that the entire scenario is yet to be unravelled.
Confirming the incident, Police Area Commander, Onitsha, Yahaya Abubakar, an Assistant Commissioner of Police told Daily Sun that through the combined efforts of security agents and other volunteers, the three dead bodies were recovered from the well and have been deposited in a nearby mortuary while investigation into the incident continues.
